Senior Financial Analyst

This position is the main interface between the financial planning and analysis and delivery functions at RIVA Solutions, Inc.  The position is responsible for report generation, financial analysis, budget input and variance analysis, and EAC/ETC calculation.   The position reports to the Controller.

Duties include:

• Working with program and portfolio managers to report on and monitor labor statistics, including utilization, PTO usage, billable hours vs plan
•  Lead monthly budget review including variances to budget and ETC/EAC review
• Prepare retro wage calculations for SCA personnel based upon new wage determinations
• Review pricing requests
• Assist contracts team with request for equitable adjustments
• Monitor indirect budget spend vs budget
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following: 

• 3-5 years of financial planning and analysis including at least 2 years in GovCon or equivalent experience
• Intermediate knowledge of FAR and CAS
• Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced work environment and deliver to tight deadlines with high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Ability to deal with uncertainty and think outside the box
• A passion to innovate
